With its built-in digital compass, the 4500 Series not only quickly measures air speed but also wind direction, as well as calculates crosswind and headwind/tailwind with reference to a user-set target heading. This information is stored along with all other environmental readings in its 2900 data point memory. You can transfer your logged and real-time data to a computer with the Bluetooth integrated feature.

Pilots, hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and military personnel who require the information of not just the wind speed but also the wind direction will benefit from the 4500 Series. The Applied Ballistics® option features a calculator which provides accurate elevation and windage targeting solutions for long range rifle shooting. This feature also ensures that this meter can keep up with you in the rain, mud, and even the cover of darkness.

The NV Configuration features a natural night vision backlight that filters out overall brightness to help preserve night vision for military personnel and pilots flying at night.
